The Future of Human kind

As an ode to signing off for the semester i wanted to make this last one special. In memory to us the ruling species of the planet, I would like to say that we are better because we say and think it. As far as the future of our species i do not foresee a future in our bleak existence of harmony. As a species i believe the idea is to continue our race, as but the more our world population  grows the less people care about the species. Each individual only cares enough to have and great existence for his/her lifetime. Everybody is only out in the world to save themselves in other words. Think of our bodies of government in the beginning, during the middle ages, it may have seemed a noble cause, but now every part of land is governed and the only thing that combines efforts of multiple countries is war. There are now the big five nations that are in a majority of control, then the USA, us, who seems to want all control. having all control never works, having the freedom of control will work. At this moment i just feel as though all nations will at some point become feed up and war with each other for control over something they need desperately, but could of really just work out a trade.

Future Clothes

over the years clothing has changed many times. I am wondering how the clothes of the future will look. in the 1800s clothes were complicated and more formal. In the present clothes range from simple to formal to stylish to poor. This brings me to believe that the clothes of the future will somehow be integrated with some sort of tech to cool or warm our bodies to a comfortable temperature.

Morph

this is only a concept phone. A lot of concept technologies are based around nanotechnology. Morph nano tech check this out, the future of our mobile devices.

Transformers

There is already tranformers out there. a coffe machine that is a walking robot. there are phones that tranform to be viewed better. As far as the qauntom machnics of the transformers from the movies, i dont think any of that will ever be around during my time.

Neo-Sporin

In the future what will miracle healing creams be like? i thinking that there will be tubes of nanites, or some sort of stem cell  that is wipe over the wound and instantly healed. There probably already is something like for our military but cant be marketed for the rest of the population since its so expensive.

Ghost hunters Tech?

YEaaa, im watching these ghost hunter marathons for halloween, and thinking where are these people getting their equipment? they have electromagnetic field monitors, UV cameras, Infrared cameras, a bunch of different camera lens, voice recording equipment, trap cameras that record movement, etc. What is the future of these peoples equipment, will their equipment get better? Will they Ghost Hunters find better gear to find these alleged ghosts? I personally think this ghost hunters is just a fad and there will never be a need for better gear. What do you think?

Next Next Gen GaminG!

Ps3, Xbox 360, Wii, and the PC lead the way for any next gen games. Think back to the first couple video games, pong, centipede, etc. Now theres game like World of Warcraft, Assassins Creed, games that are in 3D worlds with an incredible amount of data used to run them. I was thinking recently though, where will these games lead to. The industry of gaming is go nowhere, so what does this mean for the future of video games? I think the Future of video games will bring us into the video game. Virtual Gaming has been tried already but i dont think there was enough technologies to back the kind of power. Xbox already has a pretty successful version of this virtual gaming called kinect. kinect is a mounted video camera that maps how you move and tranfers those movements into the game. this is the closest yet to virtual gaming. However, i would want  more of my senses involved in the virtual world, I would want to more or less be in the game. Tell me how you think virtual gaming will change over the years....

Future of Computer

Where are computers going? Everyone knows they are getting smaller, but what does smaller mean for their usefulness? are we just gonna have cell phones in the future? Will anyone person need all the possible computing power that is to come from future years? Someone give me some ideas. I personally think were gonna have mini wrist computers, monitoring our vitals and brain activity. the miniaturization will go hand and hand with the integration of computers and humans.

Hover Cars!

Are hover cars logical? What would we have to do to make hover cars work? I want People to actually think about movies like star wars, or The Fifth Element, and tell me how that would work. in the fifth element it seemed as though traffic lanes had simply been lifted into the air. How are traffic lanes seen in the air? Is that actually cost efficient?

Smart Drugs!

Smart drugs, personalized medicine, Gene therapy, these are the ways of future medicines. Pills that are chemically designed to rewired our brains. Pills with directed chemicals designed to sit in the stomach to keep the balance of digestive fluids. Scientist talk about being able to almost program these pills as if they were computers. Gene therapy, used to massage our cells and narrow down treatments for unknown disease. Smart Personalized medicines is our future.

Nano Tech.

Nano technologies will be a large portion of our lives in the future. Think about once we are able to program a computer the size of our blood cells, and even smaller, our individual atoms. The applications will be endless. We can inject nanites to seal up a large open wound. Inject Nanites to clear a clogged artery. Eventually there will be nano mechanics and one of the first ideas that comes to mind is the 3D printer. 3d printer has limitless applications in itself but it is nothing without the study and investment in nano tech. A 3D printer essentially fuses an object together atom by atom. Further in my "Growing Organs" research many scientist say that theses printers will be printing organs out.

The Cube

The cube is a three by three by three meter compact living space that has the bear essentials while being Eco efficient. Go HERE!!!!! If you wanna see inside and an explanation. Check out the panorama shot.

I am Connectome!

Ok i heard all this about connectome's about ten seconds ago, so its still sinking in. A connectome is the connections of neural activity and where those connections lye in the brain. It is how and why we operate. Sebastian Seung believes that a connectome is like our personality, the pre-thought before actually executing, the thought that the only way is our way. (Mr. Connectome.) Give the whole thing a watch. If you watch the entire thing you will grow to learn that the Mastery of the Connectome will eventually lead to Life altering technology, possibly integrated straight with our bodies. Cell phone in the ear. T.V. on the eye. Skin pigment that changes colors. Eyes that change colors. The aplications are so limitless that it immediately takes me to the idea of a power drunk villian, Like Doctor Octupus, who has a weapon merged with the mind and attached surgically. Again, another million variety's of technology gone wrong, end of the world scenarios.

Weather Warfare

Weather warfare, science or fiction, or both. Weather warfare is the concept that one defending or attacking nation has designed a weapon, specific to controlling the weather. (Weather Wartube.) Go to the link if you care to see a history channel Modern marvels type episode based around the development of weather weapons. The problems with trying to control the weather as a weapon, is how to start the event, how to direct it, and how to sustain. If this type of weapon is to be useful we would have to be able to start the event undetected and leave no trace behind. I dont believe i will ever see this type of practical weapon in my life. The idea in general seems to messy. There are to many factors to consider to keep an event of that magnitude under our radar, yet without the enemy knowing. This will always be Sc-Fi to me.

Growing Organs

(Engineered Organs) Watch this video. This kind of stuff always makes me uncomfortable, and makes me feel like there is something wrong with my body. It seems like a really great new technology though. They tell you how all organs without their cells have their own skeletons and can be regenerated with new healthy cells. This is not something i know how to fully explain, but if my little blurb interested you give some of it a watch.

War suits

Right about now I'm realizing that most of my interesting information about technologies comes from an internet source. I have to point out also that most of the most interesting talks on new, innovative tech comes from this website. (TED Talks) Onto my subject, War suits. The "War Suit" is just a term i came up with dedicated to America because multiple countries are starting to gain interest in this idea, but we are the only country, that i know of, who modeled a prototype after the video game Halo Master Chief's armor. Again, only a prototype, a drawing, a figment of a drawers imagination. The suit we have developed so far is far from the Master Chief, in fact it is pretty much the opposite. If your interested in seeing it; (Go Here!) This form of robotics has many applications such as Artificial limb's, restoring mobility to the handicap, etc. If you were interested in watching the link, "Go Here" make sure to watch it from beginning to end. I was just exploring it again for a bit and currently Lockheed Martin has produced a portable version of this suit named HULC. (HULC promo video) The Japanese also have a cute wittle version of ours, it looks like they put neon lights in a bendable plastic suit, of course that's just my opinion. The exoskeleton suits seem to be the way of the near future for foot soldiers everywhere, even Russia has one, or so they say, you never know what mind games those Russians are playing. I don't even think they have their own youtube video yet, psshtTT! If the Russians did create a working exoskeleton its proally made from recycled bike frames and pre-World War II swing sets. Enough joking about how America has the best exoskeleton in the world, It is.

Bio mechanics

Since the start of the human genome project, modernized countries have been funding scientist's to see how far human's can be mechanically altered. (Neo-Evolution) This video explains a lot of what i have cross referenced over many sites, and i believe is very simply informative. For People who have not heard much about this growing concept it is the science of genetically programing cells to carry out our commands.  Neo-evolution deal more with genetic altercation to fetuses creating a genetically modified population compared to people who have prosthetic Limbs/organs. Artificial organs walk hand in hand with neo evolution. These organs are already in business with medicine and have been applied to patient's. The future of prosthetic organs will be around long after any cells have been modified or programed. Veterans will always choose to have their legs or arms back. There is not much modification that can be done to a limb that isn't there however. Neo-Evolution happens to be our future. I can not explain it as well as the video but basically it is programming our babies to grow in a way to have more strength, more memory, be more articulate than their Parents. The video even goes further to talk about how our aging process can be halted, which makes it seem like were going to become Immortal's, but i haven't read the fine print yet.
